Mandy is a passionate, energetic and inspiring presenter who captivates the audience with her empathetic style. Her ability to intimately understand the on-going pressure faced by business leaders is clear and grounded in her personal leadership experiences with over 25 years’ experience in business.

A former partner at KPMG and PKF Mandy is a Fellow at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. In 2011 Mandy published her first book, Inspiring Courageous Leaders.

Carolyn Kay

Carolyn is highly qualified and experienced in marketing having started her career with Procter & Gamble after completing a B.Bus (Mktg) and later establishing her own marketing agency. This led to her involvement with The Business Referral Group in 2003, when she became a director and focussed on the day to day operations and marketing of the business networking organisation. Since 2003, BRG has grown to 19 groups across, Sydney, the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Newcastle and most recently launched 4 groups in Melbourne. Carolyn has worked with small business owners from more than 120 different industries to help them grow and develop their business via efficient and effective marketing strategies. Having worked with hundreds of small business owners, Carolyn understands the time and budget constraints many experience and tailors the marketing plan to ‘work’ for the business.

Jane Heidrich

Tax Strategist

Jane Heidrich was a director and part-owner in Toowoomba accounting firm, McConachie Stedman for 10 years.  She has been working in the accounting industry for approximately 25 years and is currently consulting to McConachie Stedman for a number of the larger clients.  Jane specialises in taxation and business advice for small and medium sized business and does extensive work in business development.

Jane has always been actively involved in the implementation of many IT systems to improve both the practice and the client experience.  She is now using this expertise in developing tools to assist the accounting industry.

Jane is currently CEO and founder of Saasset which is the latest online platform she has developed – it analyses accounting programs for you and your clients to ensure your client is using a ‘best fit’ system for their needs.

In addition, Jane is a Director for TaxStrategist, an online tax planning tool for accountants and has been involved with the development of TaxStrategist since it’s inception.

Nathan Keating

Nathan Keating is the Managing Director of Pearl Debt Advisory, a leading Debt Advisory business based in Melbourne.  

He started his career as an insolvency Accountant but moved to banking recognising a need to help businesses grow through optimal funding.  He held roles in Australia’s Major Banks, as well as outside of banks operating as a credit consultant enhancing bank risk processes.   In 2008 Nathan joined Pearl Debt Advisory with a vision to become Australia’s pre-eminent authority in helping businesses optimise their Debt Capital structuring.

After over 20 years working in and around banks, Nathan has assisted 1000s of businesses to better understand the needs of banks and to obtain superior bank funding arrangements. Pearl, under Nathan’s leadership, has also written well over $1B in new funding for clients.
